About Our Wellbeing
A supportive and compassionate counselling practice.
At Our Wellbeing, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to explore what they are going through.
Life can bring experiences that feel difficult to navigate alone. Whether you are coping with trauma, grief, relationship challenges or feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of everyday life, counselling can offer the opportunity to pause, reflect and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
Our aim is to provide a calm, non-judgemental environment where you feel heard and supported while exploring the thoughts, emotions and experiences that may be affecting your wellbeing.

Meet Chloe
Our Wellbeing is led by Chloe, a qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Chloe works with individuals aged 16 and over who may be experiencing a range of emotional challenges, including trauma, grief, attachment difficulties and relationship issues.
She has knowledge and understanding of many common mental health difficulties and aims to support clients in finding ways to cope with the internal and external pressures of life.
Chloe offers a warm, compassionate and thoughtful approach to counselling, creating a space where clients feel able to talk openly about their experiences and explore meaningful change.

Areas of Interest
Trauma and PTSD
Trauma can affect how we feel about ourselves, our relationships and the world around us. Chloe has undertaken additional training in trauma and has a particular interest in approaches that support the body as well as the mind when working with traumatic experiences.
Self-Esteem and Confidence
Low self-esteem can affect many aspects of life, from relationships to work and personal wellbeing. Counselling can help you explore the root causes of self-doubt, develop self-understanding and begin to build confidence.
Relationships and Attachment Patterns
Relationships can sometimes feel confusing or difficult to navigate. Counselling can help you explore relationship patterns, understand emotional responses and develop healthier ways of relating to others.
Our Approach
We take a collaborative and person-centred approach to counselling. This means we work alongside you, recognising that you are the expert in your own life and experiences.
Rather than offering quick solutions, counselling provides a space to explore what may be happening beneath the surface. Through this process many people begin to develop greater self-awareness, emotional understanding and new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
We believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change and we aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore your experiences openly and honestly.
Counselling in Ripon and Online
Our counselling practice offers in-person sessions in Ripon as well as online counselling for those who prefer remote support.
We work with clients locally in Ripon and also support individuals across North Yorkshire, including Harrogate and York, through online therapy.
A space for growth and understanding
Counselling is not about being told what to do. Instead, it offers a supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain new insights and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
At Our Wellbeing, our aim is to support individuals in building resilience, emotional awareness and a stronger sense of wellbeing.
If you are considering counselling and would like to find out more about how we might work together, you are welcome to get in touch.
