What to expect from counselling

At Our Wellbeing, counselling provides a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing.

Many people seek counselling when life feels overwhelming, when they are navigating difficult emotions, or when patterns in relationships or past experiences begin to affect their wellbeing. Counselling offers the opportunity to pause, reflect and explore these experiences with the support of a trained professional.

Session Information and Fees

We work with clients locally in Ripon and also support individuals across the UK through online counselling. Counselling sessions typically last 50 minutes and usually take place on a weekly basis. Sessions are available:

In person in Ripon

In-person counselling sessions in Ripon offer a calm, private space where you can step away from the demands of daily life and focus fully on yourself. Meeting face-to-face in a dedicated therapy room can help build a stronger sense of connection in a safe, supportive environment.

Online via video call

Online counselling can be particularly helpful for individuals who live outside the local area or who prefer the flexibility of accessing support from home. Online counselling sessions via Zoom offer a flexible and accessible way to access support from the comfort of your own space. 

Reduced-fee sessions for trainee counsellors

We offer a small number of reduced-fee sessions for trainee counsellors.

Personal therapy is often a requirement during counselling training and we recognise how valuable this support can be during that stage of professional development. Chloe understands this experience from her own training and aims to offer a limited number of lower-cost spaces where possible.
